Cain Camp Accuses Perry Campaign of Leaking Sexual Harassment Claims Fox News

"This is one of the actions in America that is the reason why people don't get involved in politics," Mark Block, chief of staff to Cain's campaign ....

“The actions of the Perry campaign are despicable,” Block told Fox News tonight. “Rick Perry and his campaign owe Herman Cain and his family an apology. Both the Rick Perry campaign and Politico did the wrong thing by reporting something that wasn’t true from anonymous sources. Like I said, they owe Herman Cain and his family an apology.”

The latest eruption in the Cain campaign sabotage is the bombshell that Rick Perry was the one who leaked the anonymous sexual harassment charges against Herman Cain.
Perry is a snake. Watch him. He is creepy. And his drunken, freak show speech this past weekend belonged in a Roger Corman film.
I questioned his very bad judgment when I exposed his entire Islamic curriculum,  dawah and prosyltizing, to Texas school children. But this? Perry is a really bad guy. Only a lowlife (or a Democrat - Perry was Al Gore's campaign manager) would eliminate a better man with innuendo and gossip. Men like Perry do not win on merit.
I endorse Herman Cain. What he doesn't know, we'll teach him.
UPDATE: According to the NY Times political and government blog, The Caucus, I am going against the Conservative blogosphere tide, who appear to be "tempering their defense of the embattled Republican presidential candidate." Nonsense. The ability of the NY  Times to read the conservative blogosphere is, uh, questionable at best. They want Cain down and out.

Erick Erickson said: “Herman Cain’s consultant from 2004 uncovered it in 2004 and Cain launched a Presidential bid in 2011 without coming up with a damage control plan on a major issue that could destroy his campaign?” Mr. Erickson, a former attorney who has dealt with sexual harassment cases, said that even if the new allegation turned out to be bogus, there was no way Mr. Cain could defend himself against a credible accuser.
Mr. Bise said he had been willing to overlook Mr. Cain’s lack of political experience because of his record building the Pillsbury and Godfather’s brands. But Mr. Cain’s failure to effectively address the harassment accusations, coupled with his “confusing and incomplete defense of the 9-9-9 plan to his continued misstatements on abortion and foreign policy” reflected poorly on his ability to solve the nation’s problems.
“Herman Cain has said, over and over, that we should support him because he is a problem-solver,” he said. “If he can’t solve the problems in his own campaign, how can we believe he’ll solve the far larger problems of Obama-sized government? Regrettably, I can’t.”
Still, Pamela Geller said on her blog, Atlas Shrugs, that she did not believe the Perry campaign’s denials. Mr. Perry, she said, is “a really bad guy,” trying to take out Mr. Cain “with innuendo and gossip.”
“I endorse Herman Cain,” she said. “What he doesn’t know, we’ll teach him.”
