Alan T. DeVona was the World Trade Center Patrol Sergeant who was on duty during the 9/11 jihad attack. Listen to this man's moving and unforgettable remarks. This first responder was welcome at our event, unlike the "official" ceremonies.
All of the speakers were so wonderful! To take the time and some, while sick, traveling such a far distance...my hats off to them. They're all so corageous! I thought about that as they were speaking, knowing their words probably wouldn't make it in the NY Times or the "Nightly News". But they came and spoke anyway at the risk of being called a racist or bigot. Ha! Haven't we all been called that a few times over the past few years? I know I have. I don't spend a minute worrying about it either.
Thank you again Pamela and Robert and everyone involved with this great rally for freedom! Reply Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 09:53 PM
