Crowdsourcing - Boston Bombing - Current
Jim
Walsh, a terrorism expert at the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology’s Security Studies Program, joins Michael Shure inside “The
War Room” to talk about how investigators are crowdsourcing for photos
and videos of the Boston Marathon bombings.
“What’s different about this [crowdsourcing] effort by law enforcement
is the amount of data, as much as 3 terabytes,” Walsh says in explaining
the sheer amount of information law enforcement may be able to use in
the investigation.
