VERDICT
Osama bin Laden’s three widows and two eldest daughters have been sentenced to 45 days in jail and a fine of $114 each for living in Pakistan illegally. After their jail terms—in about two weeks, because they’ve already served a month of their sentence—they’re expected to be deported. The family has been held in a house in Islamabad under military custody since Osama bin Laden was killed in May. Two of bin Laden’s widows are believed to be from Saudi Arabia, and the third is thought to be from Yemen.
