Ahmadinejad: I’m gone after 2013

by OzHouse
A German magazine is reporting that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is ready to leave politics for good.
According to The Times of Israel, Ahmadinejad told Allgemeine Zeitung Saturday that once his current term expires next year, the former mayor of Tehran and civil engineer plans to return to academia.
“Eight years is enough,” he said. “Maybe I’ll get involved politically at the university, but I’m not going to found any political party or group.”
This coming week, Iran will begin discussions regarding the country’s nuclear program with the five permanent members of the UN Security Council.
